Complex Analysis

Abstract

The workshop was devoted to analytic and algebraic methods in the theory of Kähler spaces and to their interactions with neighboring areas. The main themes included the interaction of complex geometry with group theory and hyperbolicity, striking recent progress in birational geometry and classification theory, Calabi-Yau and hyperkähler geometry, and analytic aspects of singular Kähler metrics. The program featured nineteen lectures and a session of short presentations by young participants, and emphasized the particularly fruitful exchange between analytic, algebraic, differential-geometric, and metric methods.
