Enumerative Combinatorics focuses on the exact and asymptotic counting of combinatorial objects. It is strongly connected to several disciplines, including probability theory, geometry, algebra, statistical physics, computer science, and biology. Within combinatorics, it has strong links with structural graph theory and with algebraic combinatorics, in particular through combinatorial representation theory, polytopes and matroids. Like other mathematical fields, Enumerative Combinatorics strongly benefits from interactions with other fields. This workshop brought together experts in Enumerative Combinatorics and related fields in order to discuss current fundamental problems in the area and to promote cooperation and interaction among the participants. This was the fourth of a series of MFO workshops in Enumerative Combinatorics (after 2014, 2018, and 2022).
