The MFO has three regular scientific publications: Oberwolfach Reports (OWR), Oberwolfach Seminars (OWS), and Oberwolfach Preprints (OWP). Moreover there is an annual report and some further publications. The MFO supports the idea of open access. Hence all publications are freely available on our website, with the exception of the book series Oberwolfach Seminars from Birkhäuser.

1 - Oberwolfach Preprints (OWP)

The Oberwolfach Preprints (OWP) mainly contain research results related to a longer stay in Oberwolfach. In particular, this concerns the Research in Pairs program and the Oberwolfach Leibniz Fellows, but this can also include an Oberwolfach Lecture, for example.

2 - Snapshots of Modern Mathematics from Oberwolfach

The snapshot project is designed to promote the understanding and appreciation of modern mathematics and mathematical research in the general public world-wide. It is part of the project "Oberwolfach meets IMAGINARY“, supported by the Klaus Tschira Foundation.

3 - Annual Reports

Starting with the year 2005, the MFO also publishes an annual report containing information not only on the annual scientific program, but also on other activities and on the yearly budget.

4 - Special Publications

Special publications are e.g. the Festschrift of the 60th anniversary of the MFO in 2004.

5 - Oberwolfach Reports (OWR)

The Oberwolfach Reports (OWR) is a serial containing official reports with extended abstracts of all talks of every Workshop in Oberwolfach.

6 - Oberwolfach Seminars (OWS)

The book series Oberwolfach Seminars (OWS) is published in cooperation with Birkhäuser. In this series, the material of the Oberwolfach Seminars is made available to an even larger audience.
