| dc.description.abstract | The workshop Schnelle Löser für partielle Differentialgleichungen (Fast Solvers for Partial Differential Equations), organized by Randolph E. Bank (La Jolla), Wolfgang Hackbusch (Leipzig), and Gabriel Wittum (Heidelberg), was held May 18th–May 23rd, 2008. This meeting was well attended by 41 participants with broad geographic representation from 9 countries (Austria, China, Germany, Israel, Norway, USA, Slovakia, Switzerland, The Netherlands), and 3 continents. The workshop was a nice blend of researchers with various backgrounds. | |
